Log Cash and Wheel Chips for Any Purpose

The Chip Slot is an attractive, robust slot-cover plate which fits into any gaming table. Low-profile electronics under the plate can be fully enclosed within a 1-inch thick table, and optically recognise chips passing through the slot, communicating results over a wired or wireless (USB or WiFi) connection to a PC or database.

Any chips can be recognised optically; RFID chips are not required.

Applications include:

• Driving progressive totalisers and logging side-bets, especially for complicated side-bets involving different chip values or multi-game combination bets.
• Logging dealer tips for fair distribution of tips and producing income tax reports.
• Logging poker commission payments and tracking game speed.

Security

Besides video sensors, the Chip Slot has several extra proximity sensors for detecting partial chip insertion or withdrawal, and opening of any chip safe installed under the table. This information is used to produce accurate reports of the chip safe upon any removal or at the end of a staff shift without the need to count the contents. Reports can be retrieved from the database through a web interface.
